The short version: JyutTyper is a fully offline app. It does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no network calls of any kind. Everything stays on your device.
Nothing. JyutTyper has no backend server, no login system, and no cloud sync. We do not operate any servers that receive your data, because the app never sends any.
Everything the app records — your practice progress, streaks, best words-per-minute, accuracy history, and your settings — is stored locally on your device only, using the device's standard on-device storage. It is never uploaded. If you delete the app, that data is removed with it. You can also clear it any time from Settings → Reset progress.
All drills, tone-number sets and sentences ship inside the app. Practising a lesson does not contact any server and does not send what you type anywhere — the correctness check happens entirely on your device.
There are none. The app contains no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, no advertising SDK, and no third-party tracking. We do not use cookies or device identifiers for tracking.
JyutTyper requests no special permissions. It does not use the microphone, camera, contacts, location, or notifications.
JyutTyper is a language-learning tool suitable for all ages. Because it collects no data at all, it collects no data from children.
