AQL Pocket Inspector

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 July 2026

The short version: AQL Pocket Inspector is a fully offline app. It does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no network calls of any kind. Everything you enter stays on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. AQL Pocket Inspector has no backend server, no login system, and no cloud sync. We do not operate any servers that receive your data, because the app never sends any.

Where your data lives

All of the information you create in the app — inspection records, lot details, defect notes and photos, your inspector/company profile, and any logo image — is stored locally on your device only. It is never uploaded. If you delete the app, that data is removed with it.

Camera & photo library

The app can ask for permission to use your camera or photo library so you can attach a photo to a defect record or set a company logo. These images are used only inside the app and are stored on your device. They are never transmitted to us or to any third party.

Analytics, tracking & advertising

There are none. The app contains no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, no advertising SDK, and no third-party tracking. We do not use cookies or device identifiers for tracking.

Sharing reports

You can export an inspection as a PDF and share it yourself (e.g. via email or a messaging app) using your device's standard share sheet. When you do this, you choose the recipient and the app you share through — the app does not send anything on your behalf.

Children's privacy

The app is a professional quality-control tool and is not directed at children. Because it collects no data at all, it collects no data from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the date above.
